Welcome, my name is Jonny Carlsson and I have the great pleasure of introducing my self, this homepage and perhaps also the artform called WireWork to you. First thing first, I live together with my wife and my two children in a small town called Pitea in the nothern part of Sweden. I have a degree in computer sience and works as an application developer at a company called Sogeti. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed painting, drawing and
craftmanship of different types.
I also read a lot of books and when I stumbled over my first WireWork book I
could not stop reading about these fantastic wire trees. So I went out and bought
my first set of pliers and some wire. (I think this is a proper place for a
little warning, once you have started your first sculpture you cant stop
;-). If you are intrested in books and litterature about this subject, please follow the Books link on the left. But books are not all, in these days with the wonderful internet at hand, you can find hundreds of WireWork websites. I have made a little selection of my favourite sites that you can find if you follow the Links section on the left.
The public intrest for WireWork is growing and I think this is a very relaxing
and challinging hobby that many more should try. I have made this homepage to be able to easier show my
